Roles at PBC:
Russ is the President, CEO, and founder of PBC, which opened its doors in 1988. His client services include coaching/mentoring client CEOs and senior management, CFO services, and other senior management functions. Russ has over twenty six years experience in government contracting, mostly with the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program. He is often the point person for industry peers with regard to audit negotiations, and FAR interpretations.
Russ is an advocate for the SBIR and STTR Programs and founded SBIR Colorado 3 years ago to help attract more dollars to the Colorado region. He also sits on the board of directors for the Small Business Technology Council (SBTC), the national advocacy organization for the SBIR industry.
Previous Industry Experience:
Russ spent seven years as CFO and Financial Vice President for an aerospace systems engineering company engaged in Government contracting. He supervised and directed all aspects of finance, accounting and contract management. He spent six years as Corporate Controller for a publicly held electronics manufacturing company, during which time, he directed all aspects of accounting, bank and leasing company relationships. Russ was an Auditor for a Big 5 accounting firm for four years, and was involved in audits for a variety of companies from manufacturing to real estate development.
